These past few weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions for some of us. The weather has paralleled this pattern of ups and downs. Barometric pressures have an effect on us physically, and for us spiritually sensitive folk, it can completely throw us a metaphysical curve ball if we aren't ready for it.
For "empaths", it is extra challenging when EVERYONE, including the general population, is being effected physically, emotionally, and spiritually by the changes that are taking place in the atmosphere. And what an atmosphere we had. One moment it's rainy, cold, and everyone is whining about it, and then when the sun comes out (it's hot as hell) and complaining persists that it is now TOO hot. "I want to move to a place where it's sunny and 75 degrees all the time!" was a comment I heard numerous times.
Has anyone else seen this Goldilocks mentality in your neighborhood? :) Resistance to what is can cause some discontentment......why not try seeing it in a more positive way?
The old notion of "what you see is what you get." came to mind. Well I would like to CONTROL ALT DELETE that programming. Let us REPHRASE that please!
"What you PERCEIVE is what you get!"
All it takes is one little shift in perspective and the rain is your best friend but when that cloud starts to float on out we don't fret either that the sun is going to dry up everything and we turn into California raisins.
I know change can be hard for all of us. Especially this drastic change in weather....it's the unpredictable part that doesn't sit well with us. Let the unpredictable be your guide.
One who sits well with uncertainty masters the virus that plagues us all: Fear. Take fear by the horns and ride out the storm because it can't last forever. All it takes is the will to do so.
